Netork CCGs

Introduction

This site has really been set up to combine two of my interests - CCGs and computing. By setting up this site, I get to show off my collections of Magic the Gathering, Battletech, Aliens Vs Predator and Legend of the Five Rings cards, and learn more about php whilst doing so.

I have learnt much in creating the site, and hope to continue making improvements (and learn more) as time goes on. If you can think of any way in which the site could be more useful to you, or if I have made any mistakes (however small), I would really like to hear from you - just email me at bob *at* netork *dot* co *dot* uk (sorry for the horrible looking address, I am trying to reduce the amount of SPAM I have been receiving).

Site Layout

Below is a brief description of each section of my site:

Decks

A list of some of my better Magic the Gathering decks (including my entire Dragon collection) and all of my Battletech, Aliens Vs Predator and Legend of the Five Rings decks.

Magic

This section contains a database which allows you to search different editions, colours and rarities, or give a random selection of cards - to remind you of cards long forgotten or prompt new deck ideas! It also contains links to the Wizards of the Coast database of cards, and eBay UK, so you can find cards quickly and easily.

The database contains all the cards from Alliances, Antiquities, Apocalypse, Arabian Nights, Chronicles, Darksteel, Eighth, Exodus, Fallen Empires, Fifth, Fifth Dawn, Fourth, Homelands, Ice Age, Invasion, Judgement, Legends, Legions, Mercadian Masques, Mirage, Mirrodin, Nemesis, Odyssey, Onslaught, Planeshift, Portal, Portal Second Age, Portal Three Kingdoms, Promo/Signed, Prophecy, Revised, Scourge, Seventh, Sixth, Starter 1999, Stronghold, Tempest, The Dark, Torment, Unglued, Urzas Destiny, Urzas Legacy, Urzas Saga, Visions and Weatherlight.

Battletech

A database of all the Battletech cards from Arsenal (Old Layout, Insignia: A), Commanders Edition (New layout, No Insignia), Core Set (Old Layout, No insignia), Counterstrike (Old Layout, Insignia: C), Crusade (New Layout, Insignia: Red/White striped Badge), Mechwarrior (Old Layout, Insignia: MW), Mercenaries (Old Layout, Insignia: M) and Unlimited (Old Layout, No Insignia, Green Bordered).

Wanted

Currently I only have my Wanted list up, but I would be happy to put up anyone else's for free if they want (up to 10 cards).

F.A.Q.

This is in place, should I ever decide to sell my cards properly (as it is, I would be happy to trade or sell any cards in my database, I just don't know how much for...).
